How Much Does a New Bathroom Cost in Coventry? (2026 Guide)

One of the first questions homeowners ask us is: "How much will a new bathroom cost?" It's a fair question — and one that deserves an honest answer rather than a vague "it depends."

Here's a straightforward breakdown of bathroom installation costs in Coventry and across the West Midlands in 2026.

What Affects the Cost of a New Bathroom?

Several factors influence the final price:

• Size of the bathroom — a compact en-suite costs less than a large family bathroom

• Quality of fixtures and furniture — entry-level suites start from around £500; premium ranges can reach £3,000+

• Complexity of the plumbing — moving pipework or adding a new shower adds to the labour cost

• Tiling — the amount of tiling and the tile choice significantly affects the overall price

• Whether you supply the materials or use our supply-and-fit service

Typical Bathroom Installation Costs in Coventry (2026)

Here's a rough guide to what you can expect to pay for a complete bathroom installation, including labour, materials and VAT:

• Basic bathroom refresh (new suite, minimal tiling): £2,500 – £4,000

• Mid-range full bathroom (new suite, full tiling, new shower): £4,500 – £7,500

• Premium bathroom (high-end furniture, wet room or freestanding bath, full tiling): £8,000 – £15,000+

These are ballpark figures. Every bathroom is different, and we always provide a detailed, no-obligation quote before any work begins.
